Head on over to google’s free URL shortener tool at goo.gl and then copy and paste the URL of your video into the box here. Click ‘shorten URL’ which will result is a special google short code you can use to link to your video. If you make sure you are logged in to your google account when you do this, you’ll be able to track the number of times this code is used which can be a great thing to keep an eye on.
Click on the ‘details’ option for your link and you’ll be presented with your QR Code which you can save to your computer. This graphics file can then be inserted into any print material you want. Whenever the code is scanned by a smartphone the link will be tracked and they’ll be taken straight to your Youtube video, and ready to go.
